How long does it take to become a real estate agent in Kentucky?

Step 4: Find a managing broker

You will also need to find a managing (sponsoring) broker to work under his/her supervision and gain experience. He is going to sponsor your license. See to it that your managing broker is experienced enough to be your instructor.

Step 5: Application

After passing the state licensing exam, it is time to apply for your real estate agent license. You have only 60 days to apply. If you fail to do so, you will have to retake the exam.
